As a comedian, I've experienced firsthand how difficult it is to plunge head first into the world of stand-up comedy. After reading every book on the market and going to comedy classes and seminars, I was still left with no clear answers. The answers every book gave me were easily disproved just by watching great comedians in action. Why did every stand-up comedy resource tell me the same thing when I could clearly see that great comedians, the ones I wanted to be like, didn’t practice what they were preaching?
I dug deeper, spending countless more hours analyzing comedians from the top all the way down to the open mics. Slowly, I began seeing the world of comedy as two separate worlds.
The first was overflowing with average comedians beating each other up over low-paying (and even NON-paying) spots. Their acts full of awkward sounding jokes. Sure, the jokes were enjoyable. But every single time the audience would walk out the door and quickly forgot the comedian’s name. There was no “Sticking power” to their material. What's worse is that many of these comedians work every bit as hard as the "big boys"... with almost zero results.
Above these comedians I found an entirely different type of comedy, almost entirely neglected, but filled with the most successful comedians the world has ever known. These comedians were more than ‘enjoyable.’ They broke the “Comedy Rules” and trampled on all the “Comedy Secrets.” They were extraordinary, and the audience knew it. It didn't matter if that comedian was on stage at Madison Square Gardens or an open mic at the Olive Garden. The audience became INSTANT fans.
I knew right away which group I wanted to be in! And once I made the switch my career has never been the same! Not only did writing and performing instantly become more fun, but the audience started reacting to me far better than they ever had before. For the first time I started gaining a serious number of fans, people who would go out of their way to see me perform.
You're searching for a better way. Like me, you're not messing around. You want to dominate the stage and you...
